USA Moving F-35s, F-22s, and AWACS Aircraft to the Middle East

For the second day in a row, the USA has been conducting a large-scale transfer of air forces to the Middle East.

Analyst Oliver Alexander reported this on Twitter.

Analysts report that tactical aircraft and long-range radar-detection aircraft are being deployed to the region.

The list of assets includes F-35A Lightning IIs, fifth-generation multi-role fighters with reduced radar signatures.

Also mentioned are the F-16 Fighting Falcon, fourth-generation light multi-role fighters that remain the backbone of US and allied tactical aviation.

The redeployment includes F-22 Raptors, fifth-generation air superiority fighter jets.

The list also includes E-3 Sentry (AWACS) aircraft, which are used for long-range radar detection and air operations control.

In addition, there are reports of the transfer of F-15E Strike Eagles, multi-role strike fighters designed for deep strikes against ground targets.

The official reasons for the redeployment have not been disclosed, but such actions are usually associated with increased regional deterrence and a demonstration of force.

It should be noted that US F-35s, which were operating against Venezuela, were also recently redeployed to the Middle East.
