Hungary goes to the polls on April 12 in what could be the country’s most competitive elections in over a decade.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, whose anti-EU Fidesz party is behind in the polls to Peter Magyar’s pro-Europe Tisza, is hoping that U.S. Vice President JD Vance’s visit will help galvanize support in the run-up to Sunday’s vote.
However, as TVP World’s Correspondent Andrew Sweeney reports, the visit may not have the impact they expected.
