(FOX40.COM) — Two people were transported to a hospital after a felony battery incident took place in South Sacramento on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to a felony battery in the 7500 block of 18th Street in Meadowview, with the residence believed to be in the area around this block.
At this time, officers have surrounded the house and are working to call for the suspect to surrender peacefully, SPD said.
Officials stated that both of the victims who were transported to the hospital are in stable condition.
It is unknown if there were any weapons involved.
