(Kharkiv) – Ukrainian fighters from the “Bureviy” brigade of the National Guard have successfully destroyed a Russian field fuel and lubricant depot, delivering a critical blow to Russian supply lines in the region. This development was announced by Brigadier General Oleksandr Pivenko, Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, via Telegram.
According to video footage shared by the general, the attack was executed using a Ukrainian drone. The footage reveals a powerful explosion followed by raging flames, indicating the total destruction of the depot. A second unmanned aerial vehicle was deployed to confirm the obliteration of the facility, capturing a smouldering crater where the storage once stood.
The operation has reportedly left the invading Russian forces without access to fuel essential for powering their equipment and generators. “The fuel burned down. The equipment will not arrive, and the generators will not start,” stated General Pivenko, underscoring the effectiveness of the strike.
This strike is the latest in a series of tactical successes by Ukrainian forces. Previously, the 43rd Brigade had demonstrated precision attacks on Russian D-20 artillery guns, ammunition stockpiles, and armoured vehicles. Ukrainian artillery remains active around the clock, executing highly accurate operations to degrade enemy capabilities.
