The Ukrainian Defense Forces most likely hit a warship for the first time — the Russian corvette Buyan-M — using FPV drones . The enemy ship is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles and was located in the Sea of Azov. Defense Express writes about this . Analysts write that this happened at a distance of more than 350 km.

The enemy ship was supposed to repel the attack, in particular, it was armed with the AK 630-M2 Duet rapid-fire artillery system, but the Russian soldiers did not use the corresponding weapons.
FPV drones are unmanned aerial vehicles that allow the operator to see what the drone "sees" in real time through a built-in camera. The name comes from the English term "first person view", which accurately describes the principle of their operation. It has a significant range of up to 500 kilometers and is launched from a catapult. The drone was developed by a Ukrainian defense company. The characteristics and features of the "Rubaka" have not yet been disclosed. However, it is known that the drone is created using a technology called "Flying Wing" and is equipped with an engine in the front part. It is the "Bober" drones that are considered to be the drones that periodically attack Moscow. This drone is similar to Iranian drones of the Shahed type, although the wingspan of the Ukrainian drone is slightly larger.
The Beaver is described as a canard-type drone with a small forward section of the main wing, giving it a "very distinctive shape." This aerodynamic design allows the drone to effectively change altitude. This allows the Beaver to successfully pass through air defense zones or change targets without losing lift.
This drone flies slowly, with an obvious emphasis on range. The "Beaver" is capable of hitting targets at a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers.
