On the night of December 28, units of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces struck enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The strikes were carried out using FP-2 attack drones. In the Donetsk region, near the village of Makeyevka, units of the Special Operations Forces struck a storage facility for Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles. Near the village of Nikonovrivka in the Donetsk region, drones of the Special Operations Forces struck an enemy pontoon crossing.
In addition, in the Luhansk region, near the village of Antratsyt, Special Operations Forces struck the location of a repair unit from the 1435th Motorized Rifle Regiment.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Special Operations Forces continue to use asymmetric actions to undermine the offensive capabilities of the Russian army. Incidentally, drones attacked the Russian city of Syzran on the night of December 28. The strike could have hit an oil refinery and electrical substations. Following the attack, residents of the city are complaining of power outages and problems with central heating. However, there is currently no official information on the extent of the damage and whether the utility outages are directly related to the drone attack.
