Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a series of strikes against Russian air defense systems, radar stations, deployment points, and ammunition depots on the night leading to April 28, Ukrainian military reported. Deep-strike Ukrainian army assets hit 27 stationary military targets and more than 20 mobile targets deep behind the Russian lines, coordinated by the newly established Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces. Video footage released in social media captures precision strikes on Russian positions. The struck targets include a Tor-M2 air defense system in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region that was hit by the 1st Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces; a Kasta-2E2 radar station in Russia’s border Belgorod region hit by pilots of the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade “Achilles”. Also struck by the 1st Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces was an “Ai-Petri” radio-technical battalion radar station in the Russian-annexed Crimea Peninsula. A deployment point of the “Bars-Sarmat” special operations center in Zaporizhzhia region was hit by pilots of the 413th Separate Regiment “Raid” of the Unmanned Systems Forces. The same regiment also targeted a production and equipment hub for UAVs, electronic warfare systems, and unmanned robotic systems belonging to the “Bars-Sarmat” Special Purpose Center in occupied Zaporizhzhia region. Among the targeted facilities is a deployment point of the combined-arms reserve of the 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of Russia’s 29th Army in eastern Donetsk region set ablaze by fighters of the 1st Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces. In addition, an ammunition depot in Crimea was crushed by operators of the 9th Battalion “Kairos” from the 414th Brigade “Magyar’s Birds.” The Ukrainian military stated in social media that would reveal some of the targets later on, due to these facilities’ sensitive nature.
