Inclusion Through Creativity: The Story of Pieroguszka | Close-Up with Aleksandra Żaczek

How can a simple idea reshape the way we see disability?

In the new episode of Close-Up, TVP World’s journalist Aleksandra Żaczek looks at how creativity, inclusion and social engagement are transforming perceptions of people with disabilities.

The episode features Ilona Ptak’s report, "Pieroguszka," which tells the story of pillows shaped like traditional Polish dumplings created with the involvement of people with disabilities. What began as a small initiative has grown into a widely recognized symbol that gained visibility during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The episode also includes a conversation with Paulina Malinowska-Kowalczyk, a journalist and longtime disability rights advocate, who discusses the ongoing effort to build a more inclusive society.
