When food becomes a weapon, children pay the price | Close-Up with Aleksandra Żaczek

In the new episode of Close-Up, TVP World’s journalist Aleksandra Żaczek presents reports on the growing challenge of malnutrition and its deep connection to armed conflicts and blocked humanitarian aid. The episode features the report “Senegal,” by Bożydar Pająk, which focuses on the fight against child malnutrition and the efforts of international organizations working to save lives. The story highlights the realities on the ground, where access to food, medical care and support can determine survival, especially for the youngest.

The episode also includes a conversation with Draginja Nadaždin, director of the Doctors Without Borders bureau in Warsaw, who discusses how conflicts in regions such as Sudan and Gaza contribute to food insecurity, how humanitarian aid is often obstructed and why some of the world’s most severe crises remain underreported
