The Russian economy is in a far worse situation than the war. The country is hurtling toward economic collapse. This forecast was published by war criminal and Z-patriot Igor Strelkov-Girkin. He noted that the situation Russia faces is reminiscent of 1916-1917. This is a direct reference to the February Revolution, which resulted in the collapse of the Russian Empire and the loss of large tracts of territory. " Right now, the economic news is worse than the news from the front… The peacetime economy is no longer capable of handling a full-scale military load… I believe that in the second or third quarter of next year, we will begin to experience something close to an economic collapse, a constantly growing one, which, of course, will soon cause a social collapse ," Strelkov wrote. He is confident that the Kremlin understands these dire prospects and is therefore trying to reach an agreement with the United States. The Z-propagandist warned that in the fifth year of the war, Russia will have to forget about stability; the country will change dramatically. Strelkov is concerned about the Kupyansk front. He considers this point of the front strategically important and is worried about the failure of the Russian offensive. He noted that Ukraine continues to successfully employ the tactic of wearing down Russian troops in "secondary" areas. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have sunk their teeth into the key Kharkiv region. " The counterattack in the Kupyansk area demonstrates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are striving at all costs to maintain their positions in the center of the front, firmly holding Kharkov and the surrounding area ," Strelkov wrote. He is convinced that other sections of the front are nowhere near as important as Kupyansk. And the success of Ukrainian forces there was a setback for the Kremlin and personally for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who has repeatedly declared the city completely captured. " If Kupyansk falls under enemy control again, it will not only damage the prestige of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (he has long since lost his prestige, just like his Chief of General Staff), but also the morale of the troops ," wrote Z-patriot. He called the outcome of the battle for Kupyansk "the most important strategic task."
